Clive qualified as a Solicitor in the City of London with a top 100 UK law firm, following degrees from the University of St Andrews and the University of Law in London he later completed an MBA and has since built a career spanning business, law, and governance. He is known for solving complex commercial challenges and advising at board level.
An experienced non-executive director, Clive is recognised for his strategic insight and commitment to effective governance. He holds specialist finance certifications from the London Institute of Banking and Finance, and is a Freeman of the City of London.
He is a member of The Society of Conservative Lawyers, one of the UK’s leading think tanks and the home of the legal profession within the Conservative Party.
Clive serves as a Governor of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Magpas Air Ambulance, and as Chair of Trustees at Camtrust, a Cambridge-based charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. He is a former Trustee of the National Trust for Scotland.
