Join us for a Dinner with Lt Col The Rt Hon Sir James Cleverly TD VR MP, one of the Conservative Party's most experienced and senior politicians, to be held on Thursday 17th September from 7pm. Venue will be disclosed nearer the time.
The evening will begin with a drink’s reception, providing an opportunity to meet fellow members before enjoying a delicious three-course dinner at a cost of £65.00 per person. Menu will be sent out in due course to all those that have booked.
Following dinner, Sir James Cleverly will give an insightful talk reflecting on his remarkable career in public service. Elected as the Member of Parliament for Braintree in 2015, Sir James has served in several of the highest offices of state, including Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary, Education Secretary, and currently serves as Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government. Alongside his political career, he has served for over 20 years in the Army Reserve, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Guests will also can put their own questions to Sir James during a dedicated Q&A session, making this an engaging and memorable evening.
We are also pleased that our local Member of Parliament, Ben Obese-Jecty, will host the evening.
This promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable and unique occasion, offering HCCA members the opportunity to hear first-hand from one of Britain's most senior political figures while supporting the important work of our Association.
All proceeds from the evening will help fund HCCA's campaigning and activities across the constituency.
