There are now only a few days remaining to submit objections to the proposed East Park Energy Solar Farm development.
Given the scale of the proposal and its anticipated impact on public safety, our countryside and productive farmland, I would strongly encourage members to consider submitting an objection. This is particularly important for those living in or near Hail Weston, Great Staughton, Kimbolton, Stonely and Tilbrook, where the impacts would be most direct and long-lasting. Members living further afield may also wish to object, given the concerning policy and political precedent that an approval would set.
Objections do not need to be technical or time-consuming. Clear, reasoned concerns from local residents carry significant weight. To submit an objection, simply register as an Interested Party and publish your comments via the UK Government’s Planning Inspectorate website (https://national-infrastructure-consenting.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/projects/EN010141).
To better understand the case against the development, please take a moment to visit the Stop East Park Energy (https://stopeastparkenergy.com/) website. If you would like some help to articulate your key arguments and highlight relevant policy conflicts, please feel free to reach me at [email protected].
Thank you for your consideration. Acting now could make a meaningful difference.
